Employee Spotlight May 2017

We’re proud to announce Kristi as our employee spotlight for May! We asked her a few questions so you could get to know her a little better:

How has Gillette Optometric Clinic helped in your career development?

GOC encourages education and totally praises us for our accomplishments. I have recieved two certifications here! I also volunteer on the Wyoming Paraoptometric Association Board. I was Secretary Treasuerer and moved up to Vice President this year.

Do you have and office nickname?

Karl, because I get my initials mixed up sometimes; they’re really KALR.

If you could be anyone from any time period who would it be and why?

Jane Austen 1800’s. I am an aspiring writer.She accomplished so much in her life and I want to leave a piece of Kristi behind to my peeps.

What’s your motto or personal mantra?

Even one smile can change the whole day! For me or for someone else.

What is your proudest moment at GOC?

Recieving my CPOA!
